The CogniDoc project aims to develop a prototypal Generative Artificial Intelligence (AI) software solution to improve the management of documentation, particularly technical documentation, within companies. CogniDoc seeks to overcome the limits of individual AI solutions, which are sometimes fragmented and inefficient, with a single tool that leverages the company’s informational assets, providing concrete and meaningful support for the various activities of operators involved in the management and use of technical documentation, improving efficiency, reducing errors, and increasing quality.
CogniDoc plans to integrate advanced market technologies, focusing on the development of innovative and value-added functionalities: the heart of CogniDoc is a set of operational tasks aimed at significantly integrating the starting information retrieval capabilities and addressing needs such as entity extraction to efficiently identify and organize the data in texts, targeted summarization of specific content, creation of content aligned with company standards, and the contents of
the reference knowledge base.
CogniDoc aims to personalize/configure operational tasks based on the needs of each business context, providing pre-configured tasks within a bot, simplifying user operations, and making AI functionalities accessible even to non-specialized personnel.
Objectives
The “CogniDoc” project aims to implement a prototypal software solution capable of operating on a multimedia textual knowledge base to enable companies to interact effectively and in natural language with their own documentary assets.
In particular, the focus is on SMEs, aiming to provide an efficient, scalable solution for medium-small businesses also in terms of startup and operational costs, considering all necessary cost items, including, for example, subscription license fees, infrastructure (cloud) costs, personnel costs for startup, training, and support.
