Site, a company that operates internationally and has been contributing as a systems integrator to the development of the country's technological infrastructure for over 70 years, had the following needs:

Dinova supported Site in the implementation of Google Workspace , offering a tailor-made solution that led to:

• Better organization of daily work thanks to Gmail, Calendar and Drive.
• Real-time collaboration via Google Sheets and Google Docs.
• Simplified access to company data with integrated processes between Google Workspace and existing ERPs.
• Using Google Cloud technology to develop scalable and flexible mobile applications.

Site necessitava di un ambiente cloud scalabile, e in prospettiva integrabile, con l’ecosistema dei sistemi informatici aziendali, per affrontare le sfide di un’organizzazione distribuita su 30 sedi operative con un crescente ricorso al lavoro remoto e ibrido. L’obiettivo principale era garantire efficienza nella comunicazione e nella collaborazione, mantenendo al tempo stesso flessibilità per supportare la crescita aziendale.

Furthermore, data accessibility and integration between business tools were crucial to ensuring the proper functioning of processes in a dynamic and distributed environment.

The project developed with Dinova, which brought Google Workspace to Site, kicked off a process of streamlining digital transformation within the company, starting with Gmail, which is now among the most widely used tools thanks to its intuitive interface. Google Drive is gradually becoming the new repository, replacing traditional company servers, while Calendar allows for more efficient organization of daily work.

Meet has been extended to the entire company to manage online meetings, essential in a context where people who need to work together are often not in the same location. Google Sheets is used to share daily planning data among colleagues and stay aligned in real time. Google Docs has allowed people to collaborate simultaneously on the same document, eliminating any versioning issues related to files not stored in the cloud.

Cloud proved to be the key to the project's success: all the tools that make the difference in Site today are functional precisely because they can guarantee flexibility and scalability impossible with other on-premise solutions.

There are several examples that demonstrate this, including the possibility of developing mobile applications on the Google Cloud Platform, using Google Cloud technology and Kubernetes integrated with Gmail, Calendar and Drive, to manage the flow of many activities.

Another important aspect was the ability to integrate Google Workspace with existing applications. Site developed a process to connect Google Sheets with the company database. Through specific connectors, people can now view information on the various sheets that were previously only found in the ERP, and the connection also works vice versa
